Taxes and Photography Business It's that time of the year...tax season... ugh! I used to absolutely dread this part of my photography business. Like most creative/right brained thinkers, this is probably the least favorite part of what we do as photography business owners. It wasn't until I met my CPA, Linda, that I began to appreciate and actually look forward to a review of my taxes each year. Linda and I began our professional relationship in 2011, when I first started Monika Cheang Photography, LLC. My record keeping was a mess at first and it took days and days before I could sit down and have something ready for her at our appointment. Linda is a business owner herself, and she always had useful feedback for me that helped me to grow my business each year. Linda never made me feel like I couldn't get it together. She taught me to plan and organize my business with a tax review in mind throughout the year. She provided me with business tools and skills that I use every day in my work. Over the years I have noticed myself needing less time preparing before we met to review. Now I know exactly where I stand as a business day to day, and where I want to be by the end of the year. Thank you, Linda, for never giving up on me, and always showing me firm, but kind support. This is a lady you have to meet! This is my CPA, Linda Bee, with her beautiful daughter, Tatiana. She is not just our CPA, she is my client, and a dear friend.
