No matter what, I always look up.  It must be a habit by now, because I almost never miss a sunset.  Next to spending time with my family, being in nature is one of my greatest joys.  Most of these images were taken with my Iphone during a hike, or off the side of the road on the way to somewhere.  

The last few sunset images were taken on April 9th, 2014, and, as some of you may know, that was the day Abigail Tizzano passed away from cancer at the age of eight.  I would like to dedicate this post to Abby.  She had so much love for life, and joy in her eyes, a most beautiful spirit, and more strength and courage than any mountain I've ever seen.
